Caring for your TALLY MARKS leather piece:
- Over time, leather naturally develops a patina, softening and deepening in color as it absorbs the oils of daily use. This is part of its beauty.
- Protect your piece from sharp objects or rough surfaces that could mark the leather or damage the lining. Please note: leather linings are not suitable for dry cleaning.
- Avoid contact with water, moisture, and liquid-based products (makeup, lotions, fragrance, etc.), as well as items that may transfer pigment (magazines, newspapers, other leathers). If the leather becomes wet, gently blot with a light-colored, lint-free cloth and let it air dry naturally.
- Store your piece in its protective bag when not in use. Keep it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, to preserve the leather and prevent hardware tarnishing.
- The colors in our leathers are achieved through tanning; some transfer may occur onto lighter fabrics, particularly in warm climates.
- Exotic prints are individually cut, ensuring each bag carries a pattern that is entirely unique and may differ from images shown.
